Chris Scotney_shopQ. When should we book our hire suits for a wedding?
A. Our stocks are extensive, however we would suggest at least six months before your event if possible.

Q. Do you need to see the entire party altogether?
A. Not necessarily, we will make a note of how many suits you need.  We  then fit each person when they are able to call in.
Q. When should we come for a fitting?
A. We will make every effort to provide you with a suit up to the day of the event.  However, to guarantee availability and a perfect fit we ask that all fittings are completed at least eight weeks before the event.
Q. What if some of our party can''t get into the store?
A. No problem. We will reserve a suit over the phone for that date.  However, please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any sizes provided by the customer without a full fitting at the store. 
Q. Do you use agents or warehouses?
A. No, we never use agents or warehouses, we would advise anyone considering hiring a suit to avoid companies which use agents or warehouses at all costs.  All our suits are kept on site and controlled by us.  Wherever possible the suit that you hire is the exact one that you try on when you visit.  All our suits have reference numbers so we can make sure this happens, we never share our suits with any other hire companies.

Some, dare we say, less professional hire companies share central warehouses of suits.  They work out your size and then order the suit from this central warehouse.  There is a risk that there is a disappointing difference between the age of the suit you try and the one that you actually hire.

A. Yes, we can organise this for you.  We will need at least 8 weeks notice.

Q. When can we collect our suits?
A. Suits will be ready for collection at 9.15am on the day prior to the event.  Alternative collection times may be available by prior arrangement.
Q. When do we return the suits?
A. Please return suits by 5.45pm on the weekday following the event.
Q. Do you offer insurance?
A. We offer insurance at a price of £3 per suit to cover accidental minor damage and staining.  This insurance does not cover theft, loss or malicious damage.
Q. Will we be asked to pay a deposit?
A. A non-refundable holding deposit of £20 is required on the day of booking, this will be deducted from the balance of the outfit.
You may also be required to leave a security deposit of between £100 and £200 on certain outfits.  You will be advised of this when making your booking
